Affiliate Disclosure

ETHOS SECURE participates in affiliate and partner programmes. Some links on this website are, or may be, affiliate links, which means ETHOS SECURE may earn a commission from qualifying purchases or subscriptions made through them, at no additional cost to you. Recommendations are editorially selected.

How it works

When you click an affiliate link, the provider may record that the referral came from ETHOS SECURE. If you later complete a qualifying action, such as a subscription or purchase, we may receive a percentage or a fixed fee. The price you pay is set by the provider and is never increased by our referral.

Editorial independence

Tools are selected on practical security value, transparency, usability and suitability for travellers — before any commercial relationship is considered. A commission does not buy a recommendation, and we do not publish paid placements disguised as editorial content. Where we are not an official partner of a provider, we say so on the relevant page.

How we present solutions

Categories and solutions featured here are selected editorially, based on publicly available information about each provider's privacy, security and travel-relevant features. We do not claim to have independently tested products, and we do not publish certifications, laboratory results, client lists or testimonials that we cannot substantiate.

Active partner programmes

At the time of writing, ETHOS SECURE participates in affiliate or partner programmes with the following providers, each covering the categories shown on their respective pages:

• Surfshark — VPN, antivirus and ad-blocking subscriptions (digital security).
• Bitdefender — device and digital security subscriptions.
• SafetyWing — travel medical insurance (Ambassador programme). ETHOS SECURE is not an insurer, broker or insurance adviser; insurance decisions rest entirely with you and the provider.
• GoDark — Faraday bags and RFID-blocking travel carry (physical privacy).
• SpyAssociates — defensive detection tools only (hidden-camera lens finder and RF bug detectors). We do not list covert recording or surveillance products.

Where applicable, using our links does not increase the price you pay. Some editorial pages on this site reference providers we are not partnered with; those pages carry no affiliate links and this disclosure does not apply to them.

Your decision

Always review a provider's current features, pricing, terms and privacy policy before subscribing. You are responsible for choosing what fits your own security needs and jurisdiction.
